In our national obsession this week we’re likely to forget that, not only is the basic issue of human dignity is an issue for all of the human family.

Take a hard look at that man. Feel what he must be feeling. He’s on his phone. Can you imagine that he’s struggling to reach his family? Desperate to have his life back?

Consider that man and how he came to become a pawn in the ugly game world leaders can initiate, to hold power at the expense of those over whom they rule.

Have that man, and the contrast between what the two candidates and parties presuming to become our leaders, are saying about the future they sponsor, in your vision Tuesday.
